As you can see we have raised nearly £15,000 throughout the year which is a great effort. We can confirm that we now have almost £30,000 in the fundraising account, some 20% of the total we need to raise before starting work on the clubhouse.
Just to make you all aware that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes to secure additional funding from various companies. As these materialise we will keep you updated.
As you can imagine the cost of running the club spirals every year and this is one of the reasons as to why subscriptions have to be increased at the beginning of the season.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for your magnificent support to these events throughout the year. However we need your continued support throughout 2010.
Also a special thank you to all the Managers, coaches and sub collectors who have assisted in organising these events. Your support is appreciated.
Finally may we take this opportunity in wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2010.
Best regards
The Fundraising Committee |
